Cabot High School
Cabot Public Schools

NEW STUDENTS:  All enrollment is processed at the
Central Administrative Offices of Cabot Public Schools.  You will need to have the birth certificate, shot records, & Social Security Card.  The High School will also need a transcript from your previous school.

 

Addendum

Please note, the Courses to take in High School section on page 6 of the Cabot High School College Admission Handbook are not a correct representation of the Cabot High School graduation requirements.  The correct graduation requirements are as follows:

Graduation from Cabot High School, requires 22.5 credits.  The credits are :
 

 Standard Requirements

 - 4 English
 - 4 Math
 - 3 Science
 - 3 Social Studies
 - 1/2 Phys Ed
 - 1/2 Health
 - 1/2 Fine Arts
 - 1/2 Oral Comm
 - 7 1/2 Electives

 

Honors Requirements
Honors:
GPA of 3.5 - 4.0  High Honors: GPA above 4.0.

Student must be enrolled for 2 of the last three semesters, and must complete the following:

  • English: 4 - English 11 & 12 with "A" or "B",
    OR AP-level, OR college level

  • Math:  4 - Algebra I & II, and Geometry

  • Science:  3 - 2 from Biology,
    Chemistry or Physics

  • Social Studies:   3 - Civics/Gov't,
    World History, American History

  • Foreign Lang -  2 - must be same language

  • PE - 1/2

  • Health - 1/2

  • Oral Comm - 1/2

  • Fine Arts - 1/2

  • Career Focus - 4 1/2


To access the College Handbook, you must acknowledge that you have read and understand the Addendum listed above regarding the credits required for graduation from Cabot High School.
